Types of anxiety

It causes a person to continue to feel terror long after the event is over and can cause terrifying dreams or flashbacks with lasting and frightening thoughts and memories.

Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)

OCD is a destructive anxiety disorder which often results in the performance of elaborate rituals or routines in an attempt to control persistent thoughts. The disturbing thoughts are called obsessions, and the rituals or routines are called compulsions. Although a person may think of these thoughts as silly, the rituals or routines are often embarrassing causing a person to keep them a secret, even from their loved ones.

Social phobia and Specific phobias

A social phobia is an intense fear like reaction to social situation. A specific phobia is an intense fear like reaction to specific things or situations.
