Achieve Your Goals
Lasting Results

Welcome to Lasting Results, hypnosis and hypnotherapy in Port Macquarie.

Although hypnosis has been around for thousands of years, new methods and techniques developed over the last hundred years has enabled hypnosis and hypnotherapy to become one of the most effective and rapid methods of transformation there is today.  Hypnotherapy is able to improve us dramatically, as well as help us meet the many challenges presented to us in our lives, allowing us to reach our maximum potential and achieve our goals.

This web site will attempt to answer the many questions people have about hypnosis and hypnotherapy in the Frequently Asked Questions section, as well as address the most common misconceptions about this wonderful profession.  Also the why hypnosis works page gives a brief overview of how our minds work, showing why it is that hypnosis and NLP are such powerful methods of allowing us to achieve when other methods have not lived up to expectations.

How successful is hypnosis?

A survey of psychotherapy literature by Dr. Alfred A. Barrios, Ph.D., revealed the following recovery rates:

Psychoanalysis: 38% recovery after 600 sessions
Behaviour Therapy: 72% recovery after 22 sessions
Hypnotherapy 93% Recovery after 6 sessions

Although I am able to assist in far too many areas of life and wellbeing to possibly list them all, the how I can help page gives a general overview.

Due to my success in producing positive changes, I have arrangements for those who have chosen to travel to Port Macquarie.  See the Contact Me page for further information.

"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution."
Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein (1879-1955) is considered to be one of the smartest person to ever live.

History tells us that not only did he frequently use hypnotic trance states to aid in his thinking, but he also had a formal hypnosis session every afternoon.

Einstein's theory of relativity is reported to have been developed whilst he was in one of these hypnotic sessions.
